What is WeDeclare?
Brief description
WeDeclare is an interactive, artificial intelligence-based platform that significantly reduces the effort required to file a customs declaration, providing new opportunities for those involved in international trade.
Why?
We launched WeDeclare because we wanted to simplify our internal processes. As declarants, we spent a lot of time interpreting documents and it was extremely time-consuming to transfer all relevant information from the analogue medium to the digital medium. To do this, we invested a lot of time in communication to keep all stakeholders as informed as possible.
At the beginning of 2018, we have already implemented a successful logistics solution with a start-up. It was immediately clear to us that we had the best prerequisites to develop a unique platform with this new team. Thus, it was possible for us to combine a lot of experience in handling customs clearance with the most modern tech know-how. This is how WeDeclare was born, a platform that drastically improves the customs clearance process and connects all stakeholders in one place.
How does it work?
Upload your documents to our Platform. The documents then are stored onto the cloud servers and OCR is conducted. Once in our system, your documents get automatically classified and split (assignment of the document type), unified into the same format, bundled and assigned with a bundle-reference. Et voilà, your file is created. Afterwards, our Platform runs an AI Algorithm to extract data. Through our built-in AI solution, all customs relevant data is extracted out of your documents. With all the aggregated information, a customs declaration draft is created. This draft then will be reviewed by our customs clearance officer for potential improvements. After everything is fine, the declaration is sent to the customs authority. As soon as we receive the answer from the customs authority we display the customs documents and statuses in our platform.
During this process, we enable a live-chat to interact with all the people involved in the declaration creation.
